Giammo and Giambo Families of New York

April 2003

After completing his magnum opus, "The Giammo and Giambo Families of Western Messina Province" Tom undertook the daunting trip to New York City to meet some of his closest relatives. He was graciously received by all.

After crossing the Geo Washington Bridge and joing typical NY traffic, our first stop was Rye to visit his second cousin Joe Giambo and family. The next day was onto Brooklyn for another wonderful visit (and more good Italian food) with another second cousin, Theresa Rinaldi, and others of the Giambo clan. And no trip to NY would be complete without trouble finding a parking spot!
